Happy July 4th!

Lots to report here, another great day in Yellowstone! We visited the Mud Volcano, Upper and Lower Falls, The Norris Geyser Basin and the Fountain Paint Pots. The bubbling mud pots were really neat and the kids could have watched them forever. The Falls were absolutely amazing, Doug was able to take a steep hike down to check them out and got some great pictures. Jake has a new friend to report, a new stuffed black bear! Penguin has an injury (ripped arm) and since I have no needle and thread, he has been side lined! Hopefully the Bear doesn’t take Penguin’s place, because we would all miss him so much (not!). No exciting 4th of July plans here, we were trying to leave the park early today to get dinner and do some shopping in West Yellowstone but we are stuck in a traffic jam. Usually it means a wildlife sighting but we think this one is because of a car accident. Probably takes FOREVER for any help to get here, I am thinking we could be here awhile and eating yet again from the RV fridge. Hopefully your 4th of July festivities are fun and dinner is better then ours!
