Today we fished from the boat
deck in the morning for Halibut and each got our limit of 1 under 42
inches. We caught 2 others that we had
to release, one was a 50 incher (60 pounds) that Sam (with help from Doug) reeled
in, unfortunately it was too big to keep.
Doug and Jake each caught their first rockfish, they were really neat
looking fish.
We had Halibut for dinner and it
was beyond delicious! The food on this trip has been so incredible! Both boys have tried so many new things and
loved them. I think I have had to loosen
up my life jacket 3 times now, but it has been so worth it!!
