Another amazing day. Today as we traveled we saw lots of
whales! Doug was fantastic at keeping watch
on deck and getting some amazing photos!
We also Salmon fished from the
back of the boat and caught 3!! We
actually had 6 or 7 on but we lost the others.
Jake was in his element and it was probably his favorite part so
far!
As the day turned from light rain
to sun, we decided to kayak again and get off from the boat. We kayaked to a beach and were able to
explore around. Our naturalist Lisa
showed us edible seaweed and plants and we found lots of cool shells and urchins. After kayaking we took the small inflatable
raft over to a gathering spot for Sea Lions. There was at a least 100 of them! They were so loud and smelly!!
For dinner we ate our shrimp that
we got from the pots, it was delicious!!! Sorry no picture!!
